- Chicago Sailing : Eight primary courses from basic sailing to advanced coastal navigation or racing. Courses use 22-53 foot sailing vessels. Most courses meet regularly for 10-20 instructional hours.
- Fairwind Sail Charters : Three primary course options including basic keelboat and cruising, bareboat charter, and coastal navigation. All courses are limited to 4 sailors and result in ASA certification.

- Judd Goldman Sailing : Sailing lessons for 8-12 year olds, especially Chicago inner-city youth. Children learn on 7 ½ foot boats. Eight 2-hour courses. Summer camp available.
- Sail Chicago : Beginning and intermediate courses involve seven 2-hour sessions with 10 hours on the water. Training fleet includes seven Rhodes 19 keelboats. Other boats available for more advanced sailors.
